Bikram Majithia: ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਲੀਡਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਉਠਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ (PM Modi) ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ 75ਵੇਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਮੌਕੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨੇ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲਏ ਬਗੈਰ ਕਿਹਾ,‘‘ਮੇਰੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਆਂਢ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਸਨ। ਜੋ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਆਖ਼ਰ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।’’ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣੀਆਂ ਬਣ ਜਾਣ। ‘ਕਿੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।’
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਘੜੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਹ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਖ਼ੁਲਾਸਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਦੱਸ ਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਕਰੀਬ ਪੰਜ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਏ ਹਨ। ਉਂਜ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਦਾਲਤ ’ਚ ਹੀ ਭੁਗਤੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸਿੰਗ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਭੁਗਤਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
ਦੱਸ਼ ਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੀਆਈਪੀ ਮੰਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਐਮਪੀ ਹਾਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ‘ਆਪ’ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਨ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਜੌੜਾ ਚੱਕੀਆਂ’ ਸੈੱਲ ਵਿਚ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਦਸ ਬਾਏ ਦਸ ਫੁੱਟ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਗੁਸਲਖਾਨੇ ਤੇ ਪਖਾਨੇ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਸੀ। ਉਂਜ ਇਸ ਸੈੱਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰੀਬ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਗਜ਼ ਏਰੀਆ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਥੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਚਾਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਘੁੰਮ-ਫਿਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਸ ਸੈੱਲ ’ਚ ਏਸੀ, ਕੂਲਰ ਤੇ ਬੈੱਡ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
